Fontainebleau, a unique French chateau!
The Château de Fontainebleau is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its architecture and wide range of decorative features reflect the times and tastes of the many rulers who resided here between the 12th and 19th centuries. During a visit, browse the chateau’s galleries and gardens that are full of masterpieces and get an insight into 800 years of art and history. Discover frescoes and stuccoes of the Renaissance period, admire the King's or Queen's apartments, and visit the Throne Room, or the apartments of Napoleon Bonaparte and the museum dedicated to him.

Closures (strikes, public holidays, etc.) and exceptional free entry will not lead to the reimbursement or the extension of the duration of the tickets.
Due to the Vigipirate security plan, which involves security checks at the entrance to the museum, we thank you in advance for your understanding for the slower time taken to access the museum. As a result of this, priority access cannot be guaranteed in the event of high visitor numbers.
