France has the largest Muslim and Jewish populations in Europe. Their shared history has its roots in the colonial Maghreb and is complex and moving. In this exhibition, the Palais de la Porte Dorée looks back at almost two centuries of this history.
Against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the two peoples have often come together, and France has always played a part in these movements.
Running from 5 April to 17 July 2022, this exhibition brings together historical and contemporary works of art, photographs, objects and many documents and archives, particularly audiovisual.
