On show for the first time at a public institution in France. Charles Ray’s work, while few in number (some one hundred or so objects to date), is exceptionally rich. This exhibition, focussing on sculpture across the ages, is designed around a dialogue with the artist, a stroll through a landscape engaging both the body and the mind.
This exhibition takes place at the same time as an exhibition at the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection, also devoted to Charles Ray. This has led to close collaboration and complementary perspectives on an extraordinary work, distinguished by its immediacy.
