This autumn, the Centre Pompidou puts the spotlight on Georgia O’Keeffe, one of the greatest figures in North American art.

Georgia O’Keeffe is the focus of a major retrospective at the Centre Pompidou

A pioneer of American modernism, the search for identity and ‘hard edge’ abstract painting … The artist, who passed away at the age of 98 (1887 – 1986) lived through the 20th century and marked it with her singular identity. This retrospective, the first dedicated to her in France, retraces her art in a fascinating chronological sequence.

From emblematic paintings of flowers to more original creations like the depiction of animals, the show offers more than one hundred works to admire and discover. A comprehensive exhibition for an insight into the artist's unique world.
