The hit Broadway show in France for the first time!

Never before has this musical, praised since its debut by both the press and the public, been performed in France.

Created for Broadway and brought to the big screen starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando, the show mixes song and dance with music provided by the Théâtre Marigny’s orchestra and chorus.

Dangerous games, cigar smoke, period costumes and an unexpected love story; Stephen Mear’s choreography transports audiences to Prohibition-era Manhattan, a world of crime and glamour, brought to life by 23 brilliant performers and a rhythmic, rousing score by Frank Loesser.

The plot is centred around two opposing worlds colliding: the world of young, innocent missionaries, and the world of New York’s gangsters.

One evening, Nathan Detroit makes a bet with fellow gambler Sky Masterson to seduce Sarah Brown, a young member of the local missionary band, and take her to dinner in Havana. But as it turns out, maybe gamblers aren’t so terrible after all, and missionaries not so naive.
