Just a stone’s throw from the Louvre, take advantage of the expertise of a sommelier over the course of this guided tour! This experience begins in a unique location in Paris’s 1st arrondissement. Built in the 18th century and home to 600 m² of wine cellars, the Caves du Louvre was formerly the royal wine cellar of King Louis XV.
Over the course of an hour, you will discover each stage of wine production, from the grape harvest to the bottling process. You will also enjoy an introduction to the history of the authentic place that is the Caves du Louvre.
Five rooms, five senses. As part of this total immersion, you will be invited to discover and taste three wines (chosen according to your preferences) from different regions of France, especially selected for you. Popular award-winning producers or promising small artisans, you will appreciate this sensory tour that will stimulate all your senses!
Your visit will be made all the more enriching with the advice of a sommelier! After a trail that is both fun and educational, you will be given the chance to identify and taste some wines, all while decoding the labels that are so often misunderstood.
