Exhibition "The Origins of the World. The Invention of Nature in the 19th Century." - until May 2nd, 2021
At the crossroad between art and science, this exhibition, in partnership with the Muséum Nationale d'Histoire Naturelle, questions the origins of man, his place in Nature and his connections with animals, as well as his own animal nature.
Presented in a former train station, the collections of the musée d'Orsay are among the most famous in the world. The museum presents the artistic production of the period

Please note that access to temporary exhibitions is regulated according to the number of visitors, waiting at the Vigipirate control and in front of the exhibition is possible.
Free of charge : all children under 18 years of age, persons with disabilities and their companions, upon presentation of proof, youths under-26s who are nationals of the European Union. Obligatory time slot reservation on the museum's wesbite (free of charge).
Free Admission for all visitors on the 1st Sunday of the month, with an obligatory reservation only.
The museum proposes audioguides (€5) at the entrance.
Ticket holders will not be entitled to refunds in the event of closure (strikes, bank holidays, etc.) or non-routine free admissions, nor will the duration of passes be extended.
As part of the Vigipirate program security controls are put in place at the entrance of Parisian museums and monuments. In case of a large attendance, these controls can create a waiting time which cannot be skipped.
VISITING CONDITIONS
Wearing a mask (not supplied by the museum) is compulsory for all audiences from 11 years old. Hydro-alcoholic gel will be made available to visitors at the entrance to the museum.
Access to the lockers and cloakrooms will be restricted to accommodate only objects that cannot be allowed in the museum galleries.
Access for visitors to the entrance and exit will be signposted, but circulation within the collection and exhibitions remains free. Visitors are asked to ensure that barrier measures and physical distance are respected by keeping more than a meter between visitors.
