Undercover in the heart of the intelligence services.

Brush up on your classics or discover the films, series and characters that have shaped the cinema of espionage with this brand-new exhibition dedicated to the spies of the big screen.

From James Bond to Jason Bourne, our perception of the intelligence professions seems to be somewhat contradictory: there are two collective imaginations that time and events are constantly changing.

Regularly used for propaganda purposes (Cold War), and sometimes inspired by real facts, the Cinematheque enables you to discover historical figures who were the source of real myths (Marthe Richard, Mademoiselle Docteur) as well as those who were purely fictional (Alicia Huberman).

With clips from films, accessories and gadgets, archives and other documents, the exhibition ‘Top Secret: cinema and espionage’ explores an exciting and complex subject from the wonderful perspective of cinema.
