Discover 75 years of international conflicts through 80 photographic works by 8 women war photographers.

These 8 internationally renowned female photographers covered 75 years of international conflicts between 1936 and 2011. The Musée de la Libération de Paris – Musée du général Leclerc – Musée Jean Moulin presents more than 80 photos by Lee Miller, Susan Meiselas, Christine Spengler, Catherine Leroy, Françoise Demulder, Carolyn Cole, Anja Niedringhaus and Gerda Taro. 

Co-organized with the Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf, Germany, the exhibition also presents a dozen original newspapers and magazines. Thus, highlighting the involvement of women in conflicts, whether as fighters, victims, or witnesses. Showing at the Musée de la Libération, from 8 March 2022.

reduced rate is offered directly at the Musée de la Libération de Paris – Musée du général Leclerc – Musée Jean Moulin, upon presentation of proof, for: young people aged 18 to 26 inclusive, students (except fashion, fine arts, art history or archaeology), holders of the "Paris Pass Famille", "Famille nombreuse" and "Pass Paris Senior" cards. The exhibition is also open to members of the French National Association of Art History, the French Society of Archaeology, and the National Society of French Antiquaries.

The access to the exhibition is free, on presentation of a proof, for: all the young people of less than 18 years, the job seekers, the persons in situation of handicap and their accompanist, ... (complete list available on the museum's website and directly on site).

Exceptional closures (strikes, public holidays, etc.) and exceptional free admission will not lead to a refund or to an extension of the duration of the period of the tickets.

The Musée de la Libération de Paris – Musée du général Leclerc – Musée Jean Moulin ensures that sanitary measures are respected: compulsory wearing of masks, observance of physical distancing, provision of hydroalcoholic hand gel, compulsory booking of a ticket, capacity caps to limit crowding
