The Musée de l'Orangerie presents masterpieces from the collection of the Bridgestone museum, the Ishibashi Foundation collection, drawn from the taste of the art of three generations of the Ishibashi Japanese industrial dynasty.
Due to its temporary closure for renovation work, the Bridgestone Museum of Art in Tokyo is lending 76 of its pictorial treasures to the Musée de l’ Orangerie in Paris, from 5 April to 21 August 2017. Bringing together the masterpieces of great artists such as Picasso, Caillebotte, Monet, Pollock and Matisse, the exhibition 'Tokyo-Paris' offers visitors in Paris a wonderful opportunity to discover one of the finest private collections of modern and contemporary art.
