Discover the museum devoted to Maillol, conceived by Dina Vierny. This mansion, located in the 7th distric of Paris presents the most important collection of the works of Aristide Maillol, an artist who reinvented modern sculpture in his time. Visitors can follow an itinerary that presents a very broad panorama of his works: his sculptures, as well as his paintings, drawings, terracotta works, and tapestries.
The Musée Maillol is intimately connected with the extraordinary Dina Vierny, Aristide Maillol's model and collaborator during the last ten years of his life. It was she who decided, upon the artist' death, to devote a museum to him.
The Musée Maillol hosts two large exhibitions per year. The programme will highlight some of the different artistic currents from the 20th to the 21st century, and is open to all forms of expression.
